  TABLE OF CONTENTS
  1.1.1 Eligibility Of Employees
  Definition of New Employee. Any Employee who has not been covered under this Fund, or a health and welfare plan provided by a collective bargaining agreement to which Local 6-505M is a party, or a plan provided by an employer otherwise in the industry during the last twelve months preceding the month in which he acquires 70 Contribution Hours.

Two-Month Qualification Rule for Experienced New Employees. A new Employee who has in the past been covered for at least one year under this Fund, a health and welfare plan covered by a collective bargaining agreement to which Local 6-505M is a party, or an employer plan otherwise in the industry, will become eligible: On the first day of the first calendar month immediately following completion of a two consecutive calendar month period during which he acquires at least 70 Contribution Hours in each month; or following completion of 12 (non consecutive) months, within a three year period, during which he acquires at least 70 Contribution Hours in each month.

Regular Four-Month Qualification Rule for New Employees. A new Employee who does not meet the experience requirement in the previous paragraph will become eligible: On the first day of the first calendar month immediately following completion of a four consecutive calendar month period during which he acquires at least 70 Contribution Hours in each month; or following completion of twelve (non consecutive) months, within a three year period, during which he acquires at least 70 Contribution Hours in each month.

Reestablishing Eligibility Within One Year. Any Employee who was covered under this Fund, or under a health and welfare plan provided under a collective bargaining agreement to which Local 6-505M is a party, or under a health and welfare plan maintained by an employer otherwise in the industry, and whose coverage was terminated, will become eligible on the first day of the first month after acquiring 70 Contribution Hours in any month, provided that the month in which he acquires such 70 hours is within one calendar year of the date that his coverage last terminated. Otherwise, such former Participant must meet the eligibility requirements for a new Employee.
