  Frequently Asked Questions
  What do I do if I am hurt on the job or have an illness that I think could be related to my job?
  a) Immediately report any illness or injury to your supervisor or employer.

b) If you received weekly disability benefits from the workers compensation carrier
and you receive less than you would have received from the Fund; you can file a claim with the fund office for Disability benefits. We will coordinate with the workers compensation benefits, but you will not receive more than you would have received from the Fund in absence of the workers compensation claim.

c) If you are collecting the same or more through workers compensation, then you
will not receive any benefits from the Fund office.

d) If you file workers compensation and your initial claim is denied, you may
contact the Fund office and a repayment agreement will be sent to you for
signature.

e) If you sign the repayment agreement, disability benefits can be advanced to you
while you are waiting the results of your workers compensation appeal.
